From breast buds to starting her period, this class will cover all your daughter’s most burning questions about her body, why and how it is changing.
This class is geared toward girls ages 9-12, but only you can decide if your child is ready for this topic. We will discuss puberty in an age-appropriate but scientific way, using the “real” terms for body parts and processes. We will discuss human anatomy and the process of menstruation. It will be a casual and fun class with plenty of time for questions.
Girls at this age are silly and easily embarrassed, so this is intended to be a place for them to be themselves. It is of the utmost importance that this remain a NO JUDGEMENT zone! Please let your child know that some girls will know NOTHING coming into the class, and others will seemingly know EVERYTHING. I can guarantee, they will leave feeling comfortable with the process of puberty and the truth about what to expect!
Each girl will be given a copy of The Care and Keeping of You.
This class can be attended by with or without a guardian, depending on each child’s comfort level.
This class will be limited to ten attendees. Masks required for the duration of the class.
